Hello! I'm Hannah Rudin, a Seattle-based strategist, designer, and researcher. I am an optimist who believes deeply in the power of design to address systemic social inequities and complex civic challenges. I hold an MFA in Products of Design from the School of Visual Arts, where I did my master's thesis on countering social and political polarization in America. I also hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
Currently, I work as an outdoor educator and guide for REI and an instructor for Edgeworks Climbing. I previously was a Senior Strategist for Smashing Ideas, helping companies navigate organizational change management challenges. Prior to Smashing Ideas, I designed and facilitated community engagements with author and former IDEO Global Managing Partner Fred Dust as part of his venture, Dust & Co. (formerly Making Conversation, LLC.)
